TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
His background matters. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
FIX API is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should round things out once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.
Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
